VCB is defined as Vaccum circuit breaker. it helps to disconnect 33kv in medium voltage get disconnected whenever we want and obviously for safety function .
VCB has its own mechanism to disconnect the continuity . The main operation method is when the circuit breaker contacts are opened within a vacuum inside, an arc can be created among the contacts due to metal vapor ionization in the contacts.
However, the arc can be quickly quenched because the electrons, ions, and metallic vapors are produced throughout. There are various VCB in the industry. Such as
