- Alternator : This is the device that converts mechanical energy into electrical energy. It’s located on the left side of the generator set in the top view.
- Control cabinet : This houses the controls for the generator. It’s found near the alternator.
- Air filter : This component filters the air entering the engine to ensure clean air for combustion. It’s positioned at the front of the engine.
- Engine : The engine provides the mechanical power needed to drive the alternator. It’s centrally located in both views.
- Mounting flange of vent-pipe : This is where the vent pipe is mounted, allowing for the release of gases. It’s located at the top of the generator.
- Water inlet : This is where water enters the cooling system. It’s located near the radiator.
- Radiator : Used for cooling the engine by dissipating heat. It’s at the rear of the generator.
- Base frame : The structural support for the generator set, providing stability. It forms the bottom part of the setup.
- Battery : Provides the electrical power to start the engine. It’s located underneath the control cabinet.
- Switch cabinet : Contains the electrical switches for controlling the flow of electricity. Positioned near the battery.
- Vibration isolator : Reduces the transmission of vibration from the engine to the frame and surrounding environment. Found at multiple points on the base frame.
- Lifting lug : Used for lifting the generator set during installation or maintenance. Located on the sides of the base frame.
- Fuel level meter : Indicates the level of fuel in the tank. It’s on the side of the generator.
- Fuel inlet : This is where fuel is added to the generator. Positioned near the fuel level meter .
