How to resolve Bluestar VRV/VRF outdoor unit C4,C6,C9 errors?

If your office premises and company uses VRF/VRV of blue start unit you may have seen these issues constantly. This is named as communication error.

This is a common error VRV/VRF unit s gets due to few issues.

1. Someone has pressed the internal emergency buttons inside the room
2. One unit has got power issues / tripped from MCBs

This error code is a safety feature that with turn off the VRV/VRF. You may see same error inside caseates or split unit indoor units which you see in the VRF/VRV unit.

To rectify this issue.

1. First open the control panel of the VRF
2. Press the reset button to check weather the fault has gone.
3. If not press long menu button
4. You will see 1 000
5. Go to 6 0xx using up button
6. There you may see your current entered working indoor units .
7. Reduce one unit down button
8. Press esc button
9. Then log press addr button.
10. It will show : off sign
11. Then wait for 5 minutes it will show on sign.

P.S:- Repeat this reducing numbers if the problem is not solved. Meanwhile go inside and check one by one whether the power indicator button is showing . There you can get and idea how many units are not working inside.

After system is online go into the non working units there find the issue. first check the drain lines are empty. emergency button lights are working or not. Put on MCB one by one to locate corrupted indoor caseates or split units.

After all the issues are corrected come back to VRF/VRV unit and then follow the above process and add the number of working units using up button.
