Recently we faced an issue with one of our photoelectric sensor. This was 3 wire and PNP No sensor. This sensor’s origin is Sick brand.
In early stage they have made the cable connected with the sensor. If you twist it some more rounds cable is broken. We have to twist the sensor and insert it so the operator breaks this multiple times.
but the latest version it is connected with M12 connector bar which has 4 terminals. So the sensor and cable are independent. But you have to purchase the connector separately.
brown + / Blue – / Black op / White op
Here we had only connected 3 wires. If the product In place it shows product in place. If not product not In place. 24vDC supply powered Sensor this was.
By passing was not a option. For the distance calibration there is a inbuilt switch + or – side.
if the green light is blinking it is calibrated. If orange and green blinks together adjustment error.
