Pressure gauges are often filled with liquid, typically glycerin or silicone oil, TO DAMPEN the internal vibrations caused by pulsations in the system.
The liquid filling helps stabilize the needle, allowing for more accurate readings and protecting the internal components from wear and tear, especially in harsh or high-vibration environments.
Please note that liquid is not filled all time it’s half way . Sometimes people get confused that the liquid is spelled.
