Main chiller Control Panel inspection.
1. Visual inspection
– Extenders for bus ducts are as per the project specifications.
– Required numbers of extenders are fixed as per the cable details of signal line diagram
– Mounting bracket / spare fuses/ panel keys/ pocket are provided
– panel board is cleaned
– Cable numbers, terminal numbers, and terminal bar labels are as per the control circuit diagram.
– Name plate “ tested and quality passed” and “KIK logo” pasting on the main door
2. Mechanical inspection
– All manually operated components are properly functioning
– All mechanical interlocks are properly functioning
– cable supports / ducts and connections are in place
– Clearance and creepage distance are maintained as per the IEC 614339-1
– All terminals and joints are tightened to the correct torque and marked where required
– Busbar dimensions and supports are as specified
– Power and control cables are properly and neatly laid
3. Electrical Inspection
– Panel board complies with project specifications
– ACB/MCCB settings are as per the design output documents
– Terminal overload relays are selected according to the rated current of the motor
– Timer setting are set as specified
– Types and ratings of fuses, contactors, overloads etc.. area as specified
– Cross section of conductors are complied to KIK panel assembly guidelines
– Arramgemet of bus bars as per the design
– Extenders sizes of incoming and outgoing of phases, neutrals and earths are as per the design
– Power wiring of surge arrestors are checked against manufacturer’s specifications
– Insulation resistance test (500 V/ 1000 V)
